Healthy Take-Aways

Wednesday 20th and 27th March:

Continuing our partnership with Cultivate, we ran two ‘Healthy Take-Aways’ cooking classes with the aim of encouraging healthy eating and developing culinary skills amongst young people. These sessions were well attended and a great success.



The young people loved getting stuck into all aspects of the sessions, including chopping a variety of vegetables, mixing and cooking the ingredients, and most importantly… taste testing! Conversations around the importance of using fresh ingredients were paramount throughout, with cooking tips and tricks shared too.

It was great to see everybody having a go and creating delicious meals to take home!
