Friends of Rekindle

 Calling for FRIENDS OF REKINDLE

Based in Market Street Newtown, Rekindle is a small and keenly focused mental health charity that helps young people aged 16-25 to recover from debilitating mental illness and go on to lead full and successful lives. The charity receives no statutory funding for its core service, being totally dependent on grant-giving charities and trusts and independent fundraising efforts.

Rekindle seeks to expand its presence in the local community, to form links, make new contacts and find new sources of income. Key to this is the launch of Friends of Rekindle, which intends to enhance support for its dedicated staff and volunteers for the benefit of its clientsAnyone can become a Friend; individuals, organisations, relatives and recovered clients are all eligible. Ways that Friends could help is not limited, but might include activities such as holding local fundraising events, becoming volunteers and helping to supply essentials for young people who have very little.

If you would like to become a Friend please contact us at help@rekindle.org.uk
