Linus O'Howell - Volunteer
I first came to Rekindle in August 2024 as an isolated 19-year-old, before becoming one of the first-ever Youth Volunteers in October 2025! Always here if you need a friendly ear!
Daisie Dicapri - Volunteer
I started coming to Rekindle as an attendee and felt like I had somewhere to fit in. Rekindle felt like a second home to me (and still does). It's a place I feel safe and welcome, and that really stood out to me. I wanted to be able to give back and help others, which is why I decided to start volunteering at Rekindle. It has been amazing so far, the staff are lovely and everyone makes me feel very welcome. I am very grateful to have been accepted as a Volunteer.

Claire Brooks - Chair
I have worked in the business and charity sectors as a general manager and strategy consultant for 40 years. I campaign for dignity in mental health and gained my doctorate in mental health service user experiences which promote dignity and empower recovery. I joined Rekindle to help further develop their recovery-focused services for young people.
Nicky Davies - Trustee
I joined Rekindle in February 2025 in the hope that I can ‘give back’ to services that support young people with mental health. I hope to bring experience from 25 years working in the international development sector with charities overseas where I mainly worked in sexual and reproductive health, gender, education and rights for young people. My family and I are based in The Marches on the Welsh borders.
Richard Stratton - Trustee: Clinical Governance
I joined Rekindle in December 2022, to help improve access to mental health support and therapies for young people. I am involved with clinical governance and supporting our amazing team to continually improve the services we provide.
Louise Greenwood - Trustee
I have worked in mental health services for the last 43 years initially in the NHS.
The Welsh Government school and community-based counselling service was initiated in 2011 and I managed school-based counselling/therapy services for Powys from then until 2024.
I have known Rekindle for many years and welcome its input into the lives of young people in Powys.
I will be looking forward to working with the whole team and supporting Richard with clinical governance and safeguarding.
Jo Darlington - Trustee
I've worked in the charity sector for about 25 years, predominantly in fundraising and communications. I was delighted to join the Board in February 2025. Rekindle is providing such a vital service and I hope to use my experience to help the charity grow and support more young people.
Dylan Woodhouse - Treasurer
I have lived and worked my entire life in Newtown. My parents were involved in a lot charity work in the town as I was growing up and I was immensely proud of what they did for the local community. Over the years, I have myself been involved with a few local charities and organisations as Treasurer. I have worked as an accountant in local businesses for over 35 years.
