Lizzie Cockle - Service Delivery Manager
Lizzie joined Rekindle in August 2022, and her role is to manage the overall operations of Rekindle, including developing the charity’s aims, objectives and goals.
Lizzie has a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Health Psychology, and is currently undertaking a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. She has previously worked for a number of mental health charities in the West Midlands and Powys, where she worked with people aged 16+ with mental health difficulties, and delivered and coordinated groups and psychoeducational training courses and workshops. She also has extensive experience in public health promotion, through managing and delivering behaviour change initiatives in London and the South East.

Jan Chilton - Wellbeing Lead
I first worked in Newtown, for another mental health charity over a decade ago.
I set up a one-to-one recovery project, enabling those who wanted to make change, move forward, or to live a good quality of life in the presence or absence of mental health symptoms and find coping strategies and resilience. As a late diagnosed neuro-divergent person myself, I have faced the emotions that can come with not being understood or not knowing why I can’t just do with ease, things other people can. I took my level 2 counselling course a few years ago, then decided I liked working with people in a more practical way.

Lauren Sheldrick - Activities Co-ordinator
I am a qualified teacher with experience working across Powys, where I continue to support schools through supply teaching. Originally from Romford, I studied in Cardiff before moving to Mid Wales at 18 and have lived here ever since. I have worked with several community-focused charities in the region, including The Hanging Gardens, The Lost Arc, and now Rekindle. Alongside my work with young people, I also co-run a small non-profit cat rescue. With a creative background in sewing, painting, and mixed media, I am passionate about making arts and life skills accessible to all. Living with type 1 diabetes and identifying as pansexual, I bring a strong understanding of equality, inclusion, and lived experience to my work. I am driven by a belief in kindness, fairness, and creating the same breadth of opportunity for young people in rural Wales that I experienced growing up near London.

Cristina Roberts - Wellbeing Practitioner
Hi, I’m Cristina! I joined Rekindle in November 2023 as a Wellbeing Practitioner. Prior to this I gained a variety of experience through other work and volunteer roles, including various youth & children’s clubs, charities, and mental health services. I hold a degree in Childhood and Youth Studies and a Level 3 qualification in Youth Work Practice, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to support young people’s wellbeing effectively

Emma Wilson - Lead Counsellor
I’m the Lead Counsellor at Rekindle (currently covering maternity leave for Jodie Hughes), with over 15 years’ experience across education, the NHS, and the charity sector. I’m qualified to work with adults, young people, and children.
I work in an integrative way, drawing on Person-Centred, Gestalt, and CBT, and aim to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. I have a particular interest in neurodiversity and eating disorders.
Outside of work, I’m kept busy by my three children and our dog, and I love being by the sea whenever I can.
Our Trustees
Richard Stratton - Trustee: Clinical Governance
I joined Rekindle in December 2022, to help improve access to mental health support and therapies for young people. I am involved with clinical governance and supporting our amazing team to continually improve the services we provide.

Nicky Davies
I joined Rekindle in February 2025 in the hope that I can ‘give back’ to services that support young people with mental health. I hope to bring experience from 25 years working in the international development sector with charities overseas where I mainly worked in sexual and reproductive health, gender, education and rights for young people. My family and I are based in The Marches on the Welsh borders.

Louise Greenwood
I have worked in mental health services for the last 43 years initially in the NHS.
The Welsh Government school and community-based counselling service was initiated in 2011 and I managed school-based counselling/therapy services for Powys from then until 2024.
I have known Rekindle for many years and welcome its input into the lives of young people in Powys.
I will be looking forward to working with the whole team and supporting Richard with clinical governance and safeguarding.

Jo Darlington
I've worked in the charity sector for about 25 years, predominantly in fundraising and communications. I was delighted to join the Board in February 2025. Rekindle is providing such a vital service and I hope to use my experience to help the charity grow and support more young people.

Dylan Woodhouse
I have lived and worked my entire life in Newtown. My parents were involved in a lot charity work in the town as I was growing up and I was immensely proud of what they did for the local community. Over the years, I have myself been involved with a few local charities and organisations as Treasurer. I have worked as an accountant in local businesses for over 35 years.
I’m proud to be part of an organisation and team focused on the health and wellbeing of our local 18-25 year olds
