Rekindle: A Supportive and Enriching Placement for Trainee & Associate Counsellors

At Rekindle, we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of counsellors. For many years, we’ve proudly provided a trusted placement pathway for both trainee and qualified counsellors, offering a rich and diverse learning environment where you can develop your skills, build confidence, and grow into a skilled therapeutic practitioner. 

When you join us, you’ll receive a warm welcome and a full induction into our team. You’ll have regular one-to-one support with our Lead Counsellor, access to group and peer supervision, and the opportunity to attend staff training sessions at no extra cost. We offer hands-on experience across multiple modalities—including in-person, telephone, and video counselling—so you graduate feeling well-rounded and workplace ready.

You’ll be allocated clients at a pace and level that supports your training needs, and you’ll always be backed by robust safeguarding policies, ethical practice, and a team that is ready to help whenever you need it. At Rekindle, we don’t simply train counsellors—we encourage you to discover your authentic therapeutic voice and develop your own safe, ethical way of working.
